"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works, and more importantly, how it shapes our relationship with the world."
My work spans private homes, public buildings, and commercial spaces. I specialize in helping international clients translate their vision into built reality within the Portuguese regulatory and construction context.

WatchDecember 2020. Luis Portas and Victor Kirillov saw each other at the distance across West Nanjing Road. One of the busiest Shanghai streets. It had been 7 years since they first met in Shanghai, and became great friends ever since. Victor had lived briefly in China during 2013, and decided to relocate to the Netherlands to experience OMA for a few months. Then in 2014 he heard the calling from Shanghai and decided to return. He was hired by Atkins. On the same day he started working in Shanghai, also Luis started working there. Al-though, Luis had never been to China before. He had walked away from his own architectural practice in Europe, searching for more exciting opportunities in the APAC region - a region he had never visited before. They both met at Atkins for the first time, one day after arriving to Shanghai by plane. Their desk was opposite of each other and they often participated in the same projects and competitions. For 7 years they grew their friendship in Shanghai, working and pursuing different projects, through different firms and Asian countries.

A female voice came through the closed door, but that didn't disturb him. He was enjoying his murder.
